Fellow Blogger (Worth Checking Out)

Their are tons of Hockey Blogs out there to read, but recently one has really caught my eye.

Phyl Myre has started a blog that to me is one of the best. He touches on current topics and puts a vintage touch on each post. All from a "been there" point of view. I don't follow a lot of blogs; The Hound Central family and Phil's are about it.

Please take a look at some of his recent posts about the outdoor games and see if you have what it takes to be a GM. Have you ever had to relocate for a job? I have but not like this.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Myre a few times when he worked in the Florida Panthers organization and each time he was a class act. That is why I happily request you take a gander at his insight into hockey at www.philmyretalkshockey.com

Technical Difficulties

All,
Sorry for the time away. My computer crashed and unfortunately took all my data with it. I am back up and running now and will begin to put updates on the Blog as soon as possible

TTM News (Canada Postage)

It appears that Canadians are experiencing postage hikes as well. Our north of the border friends will be getting 2-cent increases each year until 2014. At least they are consistent. Keep an eye out on their website in order to keep up with these changes

TTM News (USPS Rate Hike Proposal)

The United States Postal Service has proposed a rate hike for 2011. The 2-cent increase will bring the cost of a stamp up to 46 cents. Still, though, under a buck for an autograph isn't bad. The one thing to watch out for is the 21-cent charge for the "Non-Machinable" requests. These are the envelopes that are too thick or rigid to run through postal service's machines. The best way to avoid this charge is to keep your requests down to three cards.

Put your "2 cents" in on this topic in the form of a comment. I am interested to know how this will affect your TTM experience.

TTM News (5 Day Mail Service)

The United States Postal Service is pushing to downgrade to a five-day delivery week. In my opinion, it wouldn't be a bad thing. Yeah , I wouldn't get any successes over the weekend, but that isnt exactly my main focus on my day off anyhow. The USPS is a business, and as most business' run a five-day week already, they are basically doing more deliveries than pick-ups on any given Saturday.

Please weigh in on this topic in the form of a comment and let us know what your thoughts are.
